As the Director of Paid Marketing at Freed, you will lead a team of media experts dedicated to driving efficient customer growth across all digital marketing channels, including paid search, social, display, affiliate programs, and more. Reporting to the Head of Growth, you will play a key role in formulating and executing a full-funnel media strategy to drive 10x growth for Freed. We are looking for a strategic thinker who excels at leveraging data and analytics to optimize campaigns and deliver measurable results.

  • Own and execute the overall paid media strategy across the full funnel (awareness to conversions) to achieve the company’s customer acquisition growth goals from all relevant channels (search, social, display, video, affiliates, etc.).

  • Develop a deep understanding of the customer journey for our products, and how different media channels fit into that journey.

  • Drive the marketing budget and forecasting process for new clients and assets across channels.

  • Collaborate with the growth team to design, execute, and optimize campaigns across channels to achieve conversion goals.

  • Work closely with the creative team to develop and execute ongoing creative and landing page tests to maximize impact.

  • Communicate paid marketing strategy, performance, and insights to cross-functional and executive teams regularly.

  • Assess and build in-house talent where necessary and partner with media agencies/contractors as needed.

  • Partner with Analytics, Data Science, and Engineering to refine attribution models and reporting to deliver clear, measurable results.

  • 8+ years of experience leading a paid/performance marketing function for a high-growth company, ideally PLG SaaS.

  • Experience managing an eight-figure media budget with a track record of achieving conversion goals at an efficient LTV/CAC.

  • Hands-on experience executing campaigns, running creative and incrementality testing across key platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, Bing, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills—ability to work with large data sets to derive actionable campaign insights and execute them to deliver impact.

  • Strong understanding of both brand building and direct response performance marketing and how the two approaches work together over time.

  • Experience in the healthcare or health technology industry.

  • Familiarity with AI-powered solutions or technologies.

  • Experience with different attribution models and reporting systems.

  • Proficiency in A/B testing and experimentation frameworks.
